Here it is! The first newsletter of 2026! This issue reflects on the final few months of 2025, from national championships to our annual Christmas Party. We ended the year with celebrations as well as making time to reflect on our achievements. The first few months of 2026 set to be busy ones - and we're ready to take on the challenge!

Latest Competition Photos - European Championships

Proud doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel as a club! Last month, Laila and Ethan travelled to Davos, Switzerland to compete in the TI European Championships. This is a competition where the very best attend, meaning the standard was extremely high.

After all their hard work and dedication in training, they delivered outstanding performances on the European stage:

Laila:

Gold – Individual Patterns
Gold – Individual Point-Stop Sparring
Bronze – Continuous Sparring

Ethan:

Silver – Individual Patterns
Silver – Team Sparring

Latest Colour Belt Grading Photos - February

Our busy schedule wrapped up with a colour belt grading this weekend—and what a fantastic result.

We’re delighted to say that all 18 students passed, each one showing confidence, pride, and the results of weeks of hard work. Many were preparing alongside the South-West Championships too, which makes this achievement even more impressive. We couldn’t be prouder of you all.

We also had an incredible 7 A-Passes Extra well done to Cameron, Sarah, Matilda, Neil, Steve, Isabella & Ethan!

With the calendar easing off slightly, some will now be preparing for the English Championships, while others take time to rest, reset, and set new goals
